Busy is an understatement. I've been working my tail off getting a promotional package together for the Commotion by the Ocean event in August. Look for the commercial that will be airing on cox cable stations for 4 weeks starting the first week in August. I'll put up a link to it from my site and from the Dominion site as soon as it's tv ready.

As I was editing it, I came across a piece of music I was really excited to use. It's by a band called VAST and I've been a fan of theirs for quite some time. Since the commercial is airing on public stations for weeks, I had to make sure I had the lisence to use the music. Ultimately, I didn't think I'd get permission, but I said what the hell and shot the band an email.

Well, not only did they write back and give me permission, they sent me a sample of their newest album, and offered to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the charity we are working with for our event in August! I was so floored by their kindness and generosity. Its so rare to find that in this world, and it really took me aback. In other news, I'm meeting with my writing coach to refine my SOP for grad school, and I'm freelancing with Atomic Audio and Video. Lots to do, and little time, but it keeps me from getting too complacent.

I moved into my new casa, its a real house in a nice area, so I'm diggin it.

It's raining...so that probably means no outdoor practice tonight So, in an effort to cheer myself up, I listened to this....
